At the end of that tour, I didn't get a chance to say goodbye, but I always figured I would catch up with him at some other point as had always been the case. I would have never though that it would be the last time I would ever see him.

"I feel very sad about his untimely death and I would like to send my condolences to his family, his friends, and his bandmates. The metal world has lost an incredible percussive force and a wonderful soul. Rest in peace, brother."

VADER's video for the track "This Is the War" has been posted online at http://www.vader.pl. The clip was shot by Arkadiusz Jurcan and edited at Selani Studio.

"This Is the War" is the title track of the Polish death metallers' new EP, due on November 14 via Regain Records. The CD will contain four brand new tracks plus two intros (both made by Siegmar from VESANIA) and the "This Is the War" video. The band recorded also a bonus track for the Asian version of the album, entitled "Die!" (a re-recording of an old demo track).

Omia kuolon metallin sankareita ovat Cannibal Corpse , Nile , Death (r.i.p.) sekä Dismember. Kuitenkaan tätä genreä ei tule kuunneltua kovinkaan paljon. Muutamia dödis levyjä hyllystä kyllä löytyy.

EDIT: Nyt on enemmän järkeä.

Ja en menisi myöskään tuosta Opethista ihan takuuseen. Ok, onhan se luokittelu aina ihan helvetillistä viilaamista, mutta kyllä nuo ovat aika selvästi väärässä kategoriassa.

Death by Metal!

Itse olen 90-luvun taitteen alkukantaisen Death Metallin kannattaja, ja suosikit ovat sen mukaisia.

Tärkeimpänä kaikista legendaarinen Death, mutta unohtaa ei sovi Obituarya, Morbid Angelia, Deicidea, Canceria, Carcassia, Pestilencea, Autopsya tai vaikka Cannibal Corpsea.

Tässä muutama Highlight sen aikaisista tekeleistä:

Siinäpä noita esimerkkejä, listaan voisi lisätä Possessedin Seven Churchesin mutta ihan puhdasta Death Metallia se ei mielestäni ole vaikka termin ja ideologian aikoinaan esittelikin.

On aika järkyttävää kutsua In Flamesin kaltaisia ilolintubändejä Death Metalliksi.

Nimenomaan, olet harvinaisen oikeassa; In Flamesin ensimmäiset levyt osoittivat bändin olevan jo semmoista hyppytukka-pompi-mun-kanssa-tasajalkaa-musiikkia että ansaitsee Dissauksen jos toisen joka kerta kun asia tulee puheeksi.

1988's "Piece of Time" will be following 1993's "Elements", and 1991's "Unquestionable Presence" which were released this week. Additionally, "Unquestionable Presence" will be featured in the October issue of Decibel magazine as part of its ongoing Hall of Fame feature. The Hall of Fame feature highlights influential and pivotal releases in metal history, and "Unquestionable Presence" will join of ranks of previously profiled classics such as SLAYER's "Reign In Blood", SEPULTURA's "Roots", and AT THE GATES' "Slaughter of the Soul", among others. Atheist on perkeleellistä kamaa, varsinkin Roger Pattersonin bassottelut ovat ihailtavaa kuultavaa. Steve DiGiorgion kanssa melkoinen tuhokaksikko. Harmi että ko. bändin ura kuoli ensimmäisen Death Metal aallon mukana.

Aika vähän tulee nykyään Deathmetallia kuuneltua. Melkeinpä ainostaan The Crown, Cannibal Corpse ja Mord Angel on enään kuuntelussa. Tulee oltua aika kriittinen näiden Deathmetal bandien kanssa. Harva uppoaa.

Joo. Brodequin on kohtalaisen tylsää brutaalia death metallia, kuten valtaosa kaikista brutaalista death metallista yleensä on. Oli muuten jokseenkin erikoista, että erään Disgorgen levyn kesto oli peräti 61 minuuttia ja sentään sekin sitä brutaalia death metallia! Kuka nyt paskaa jaksaisi 61 minuutin ajan kuunnella? sakiaa totean.

Niin joo, mulle on tulossa Cannibal corpsen hammer smashed face cd ensi viikolla. Se onkin Corpsen ainut kunnollinen julkaisu. Tosin meat hook sodomy on paska, mutta muuten potkii kasseja todella rankalla jalalla. The exocistin versio on parempi kuin munaton alkuperäinen.

(No shit Miss Marple osasto: Tämä oli mun mielipide. Piti varoiksi kertoa, kun kuitenkin joku on heti dissaamassa)

Tulit sitten death metal -topiciin kertomaan, että death metal on paskaa? Onko sitten pakko lukea sellaisia topiceja, joiden aihe on mielestäsi paskaa? Saati sitten kommentoida niitä? Nämä keskustelut soljuvat ihan hyvin eteenpäin ilman, että joku käy kertomaassa yhdellä lausella, että ei pidä vaikka vitun hernekeitosta.

Eipä hirveästi tule kuunneltua, Deathin parin levyn lisäksi hyllystä taitaa löytyä vain Opethin tuotoksia, joka kai voidaan proge(?) deathiksi laskea. Ajattelin tässä ostaa kokeilu mielessä jotain hivenen brutaalimpaa tavaraa, ehdotuksia ? Plussaa tietty olisi jos sampleja löytyisi ehdotusten lisäksi.

Tuo Scent Of Flesh vaikutti ihan pätevältä tavaralta samplejen perusteella, luultavasti Obituaryn/Deiciden levy(t) lähtevät tilaukseen ensi viikolla, kun molemmat löytyvät sopuhintaan Cdon:sta.

Metal Blade Records has pushed back the projected European release date of the new BOLT THROWER album, entitled "Those Once Loyal", to November 14 (November 11 in Germany) from the previously announced October 31.

BOLT THROWER's eighth album, "Those Once Loyal" was recorded at Andy Faulkner's Sable Rose studios.

Earlier this year, BOLT THROWER announced the return of original vocalist Karl Willetts as a full-time member.

Willetts rejoined the group as the replacement for Dave Ingram, who left the band in August 2004 due to long-standing "health and personal problems."

BOLT THROWER's upcoming CD will be the follow up to 2001's "Honour, Valour, Pride", which was the only BOLT THROWER release to feature Ingram on vocals.

Death metal musiikki iski minuun kuin nälkäinen hauki ahveneen

Lempi death metal bändini ovat Cannibal Corpse ja Opeth (no Opeth on itse asiassa progressive death metal musaa, mut silti)

Death metallissa on minusta hyvää kunnon rumpali, tyylikkäät kitara riffit ja ennen kaikkea kunnon Death metal:issa on tärkeää laulajan matala örinä (esimerkknä CC ja Opeth)

Tulevaisuudes olis tavoitteena perustaa Death metal bändi (vähän CC:n opeth:in tapainen ilman löysiä kohtia)

*lievää opeth:in ja CC:n piilomainontaa......*

^Jumalauta, että oli METAL! Biisihän oli Slaves Shall Serve tältä tuoreimmalta Demigod -lätyltä. Perkeleen kova bändi tuo Behemoth, yksi meikäläisen suosikkeja. Kyllä Puolassa osataan.
