Kamelot - Poetry for the Poisoned CD+DVD

Kamelotin musiikin laatu on laskenut levy levyltä. Ei pahasti, mutta kuitenkin. En vielä sano jatkuiko se lasku myös tällä, mutta ainakaan klassikoiden tasolle ei päästä. Aikalailla edeltäjänsä linjoilla tämä tuntuisi jatkavan, joskin bändi esittelee hieman enemmän raskaampaa puoltaan. Tuo raskaampi jyystö on tässä oikeastaan juuri se asia, jonka saralla sävellykset vajoavat tylsyyteen. Ei kuulu ollenkaan Kamelotin vahvuuksiin. Mutta erittäin hyviäkin hetkiä albumilla on, lähinnä loppupuolella. Hienoja orkestraatioita löytyy lopulta ihan mukavasti. Simone Simons kuulostaa vierailurooleissaan paremmalta kuin aiemmin ja hänen tähdittämät biisit kuuluvatkin albumin kohokohtiin.
