^Näin kävi, Minnesotasta matkasi Porvooseen, on se kova Kohta korkataan, ei malta odottaa, kun vihdoin pääsi tänään laatikkoon kurkkaamaan pitkäksi venyneen Hesan reissun jälkeen.

Huh huh, todella armotonta menoa oli Progpowerin keikka. Jos miinuksia haetaan niin yleisön äänet olivat kovin päälleliimatun oloiset kun katseli suht paikalleen toteemipaaluiksi jumittunutta amerikkalais"yleisöä". Kitarat ovat myös dvd:n miksauksessa hukkuneet liiaksi taustalle, sen sijaan rumpalin basarit eivät jää epäselväksi. Bändi kokonaisuudessaan on äärettömän tiukka ja laulaja Sean Peck odotetun kova.

Kyllähän Peck ihminen on ja siellä täällä joudutaan oikomaan ynnä muutamia kappaleita oli livetilannetta varten sovitettu uudestaan, ettei tule Peckille äitiä ikävä. Totuus on kuitenkin se, että maan päältä ei taida löytyä ihmistä, joka pystyisi edes kolmen vartin keikkaa tuota materiaalia vetämään 100% kuten levyllä. Silti Peckin suoritus oli sen verran kylmäävä ja ansiokas, että uskon vilpittömästi studiolevyjen laulujen olevan aivan oikeita, ilman liiallista studiomagiikkaa.

Jos erikseen pitää mainita ykköslevyn keikasta jotain, mainitaan Kill The Devilin alkuhuuto, aivan jäätävä, sekä biisit Scarlet Witch ja Black River Falls, jotka ovat kaikessa hengästyttävyydessään, armottomuudessaan ja tuolla pieteetillä esitettyinä niin METAL, että vaikea on METALlimpaa kuvitella.

Kakkoslevyn lopussa olevat Peckin tuoreet kommentit ja neljä maistiaista tulevan levyn biiseistä antavat taas kerran odottaa paljon, etenkin biisi "Annelie Michel" pisti korvaan. Miksi ? Siksi, että se huusi niin musan kuin laulun suhteen KING DIAMOND, suorastaan huiman kovalla äänellä.

Eiköhän tässä tule kommentoitua vielä lisää, mutta tällä otoksella on selvää, että tähän oli 20 euroa ihanaa käyttää

Dvd löysi tiensä myös tänne Rovaniemen perukoille varsin kätevästi. Pitää huomenna ottaa tehotarkasteluun, ei tämä voi olla kuin kova, eihän?

Fuuuck, mulle taas LC ilmoitti viikolla, että mänt on & notta restockia tulee "loppuviikosta" (nyt?) ja 23€ tulee oma kotiin. En valita, kerrankin, vaan odottelen. Kyllähän mie tuota Janin ^ kopiota eilen hypistelin Rollossa ja vars. setin viimeinen biisi näytti olevan mukavana yllätyksenä Savatage-cover, mitä ei ed. sivun alustavasta biisilistauksesta käynyt vielä ilmi.

Nyt kerkesi vilkaisemaan dvdn läpi ja kyllähän toi mielettömän kova oli! Samplet tulevista biiseistä kyllä lupaili todella kovaa levyä, varmaan laitettava preorderia sisään Cagen verkkokaupasta.

San Diego metallers CAGE will release their sixth album, "Supremacy Of Steel", on November 25 via Music Buy Mail in Europe and Heavy Metal Media in thr U.S. and rest of the world.

Known for crafting great memorable songs, capturing the essence of the classic NWOBHM sound, and always sounding unique and modern, CAGE somehow effortlessly shows how the limits of the genre can be pushed without losing what makes the heavy metal sound a worldwide calling for the faithful. ^ Heh, näki tuosta Soundcloudin aaltokäppyrästä jo ennen playn painamistakin että soundit on ainakin ihan samat kuin Science of Annihilationilla. Harmillinen juttu mutta bändi on selvästi nykyään sitä mieltä että "more is more" kaikessa. Niinkuin tuossa kansikuvassakin. Biisi oli kuitenkin ihan hyvä ja eiköhän levyltä tule löytymään monta vielä parempaakin. Onko tuo tuplabasarien larssaaminen muuten joku nykyajan tehokeino vai eikö Leggio vain osaa?

CAGE: 'Flying Fortress' Video Released - Nov. 26, 2011

"Flying Fortress", the new video from the San Diego, California metal band CAGE, can be seen at this location. The clip depicts the historic recount of the crucial attack by the allies on the ball-bearing plant in Schweinfurt, Germany on August 17, 1943. The song refers to the B17 bomber which was known for its amazing ability to take incredible amounts of damage and stay airborne. The attack, although costly in lives, proved to be a major turning point in World War 2 by crippling the Germans' ability to manufacture the Messerschmitt fighter plane that provides air cover for the ground war.

The "Flying Fortress" video was previously released only to pre-order purchasers of the "Ultimate Viking" edition package of the new CAGE album, "Supremacy Of Steel".
