^Ehdottomasti. Ties vaikka jätkät pistäisi bändin pystyyn ja alkaisi tekemään biisejä maailman pahuudesta tiukalla asenteella. Ja bändin nimi olisi When Two Balds Collide

Mielenkiintoista kommenttia Blazelta facebookissa!

The bandmembers didn't sell anything of their belongings to get home. I (after they forced violence on me and after they already took all the money that there was from the previous tour without paying any of the bills of that tour) borrowed money of friends to get them home as the work that the band did in the last years couldn't pay for those flights that would have been needed even without the split, for visapurposes. So if you think i ditched the band out of convenience and to get rich, you are wrong. The band was informed about their notice 4 months in advance and only because of their own unacceptable behaviour on the EU dates in April they were sacked straight after that. All the wolfsbane money I have had since the blaze bayley band went to visa flights for nic and dave because the band couldn't afford to pay for those flights. That means without Wolfsbane the blaze bayley band would have already finished in 2009. I understand if you don't agree with the way things are done but things are not always as they seem when only one party is rushing to bring out a statement about how wrongly they were treated but 'forget' to mention that actually they are the cause of the way they were treated... Wolfsbane is purely for pleasure, having fun with friends and enjoying the music we make. Do I get paid for the days i do work with them: yes. Does it pay more than a regular dayjob: not much. But at least it allows me to do what I love with very close friends

And the band was paid before they got sacked even though the only week work they did in 2 months didn't bring in any money to pay them with

Akustisella kiertueella sit Blaze-era Maiden biisejä, sekä Wasted Years ja Trooper + pari Wolfsbane rallia?

No mitäs odotit? Kyllä minkä tahansa Blazen taustalle kasattavan kokoonpano on osattava Clansman vetää.. Olen suorastaan shokissa ellei tule lisääkin Maiden-kamaa, ainakin Man On The Edge ja Futureal. Päälle soolo-tuotannosta ainakin "hitti" Kill & Destroy. Loput vajaa kymmenen biisiä on sitten vähän kiinni siitä mitä Blaze haluaa ja mitkä biisit taustabändi saa ylipäänsä toimimaan.

Enemmän kiinnostaa tuo akustinen suunnitelma, onko samanlainen kuin se ammoinen Dudleyn keikka josta mulla löytyy bootleggi vai jotain ihan muuta.

Keikka arvostelua ja paljon kuvia!

BLAZE BAYLEY/LONEWOLF
Saturday May 7 two hours in the morning, it still causes night of the side of Birmingham in England, and nevertheless a noise of bike has of the to awaken some inhabitants of this big industrial city…
But that could well get up if early to do 300 kilometers in order to rally Gatwick in the suburbs of London?
All simply Blaze BAYLEY (WOLFSBANE and IRON MAIDEN)…
A company "Low Cost" and a flight direction Lyon Satolas for an arrival around 11 o'clock…

Blaze BAYLEY came on Grenoble to record a title of the next album of LONEWOLF (that is foreseen without confirmation for October 2011).
After of very good tied up contacts between the two parties at the time of common concerts in France and in Belgium three years ago about, the native of Grenoble financed the coming of Blaze, in fact even if the tied up contacts before with Blaze were warm and fascinated, it in abode not less than Blaze is a professional that insists for that it is (what's more défraiement) symbolically paid (I tairai climbing it but believe me it is derisory and all to the honor of the "Mister").

IT IS at La Mure situated towns on the road Napoléon (All a historic symbol that to receive an English on the road Napoléon…), that I saw for the second time of my life Blaze BAYLEY.

The first time this was for a concert to the Transbordeur (Lyon) for the turn Virtual XI…and yes IRON MAIDEN to the Transbordeur…that adorned aujourd’hui of the science fiction!
Blaze had the long hair, it was rather svelte and fougueux, and I remember in slide, already the persistent rumors on his next eviction of the group and the announced return of Bruce, brief a strange mood reigned on this concert, but I remind to have passed me a great evening. Blaze this was not Bruce, just as Bruce was not Paul, but I always have to like the album The X Factor and the hot and deep song Blaze…

afterward I had you not to have hung on the beginning of the career solo of Blaze, just as I had not hung on his period WOLFSBANE, and I have straight zappé all his career Blaze BAYLEY…

The Settings planted, I return therefore on this reserved Saturday to the siesta (remember you of the hour to which got up Blaze) and to the relaxed and natural mood musicians respecting themselves mutually. As much the members of LONEWOLF looked at and listened Blaze as kids, as much Blaze did not place itself to any moment as "a star".
Evenings was the occasion of some exchanges on the experiences of the singer, it evoked lightly IRON MAIDEN in a natural way and without thought back, quoting Bruce DICKINSON as the one of the all better singers of Heavy Metal of the world; it explained how it had galéré to audition and to find his new drummer while boasting to the passage any sound talent, it related two or three anecdotes, but this evening was not Not the object of thousand questions on IRON MAIDEN or the others group of Métal.
This was an evening I would say, between friends, animated to the furnaces by Marianne (and Rikki ?), with to the menu, a magnificent varnished duck to the orange one (a first for me and this was Top!).

Blaze was sensitive to the French wines and was not done to pray to link white one, pinkish one and red one, as well as a flute of champagne and an of crémant (Rikki and Isa being native ofAlsace they did us to take advantage of some specialties).

One learned that Blaze had served in his youth in a restaurant and it did us a beautiful demonstration of opening of bottle of champagne (Alex fact a little less well some minutes later).
joined Themselves to us to the meal, Tonio (the drummer), but also Dams (the former guitarist that works on a new named project DARK SIGHT) and Felix the former drummer (that rejoined him the chambériens (Cocorico !) ofELVENSTORM of which the album finishes all gently).

During the meal Blaze explained also how to manage his voice, and the Fact that a singer had himself to do some sacrifices before a concert or a repetition, and this in order to propose the better one to the fans that paid their places. It said us that it prepared every concert as the last one (without taking account of the number of spectator) and that if it would die after, it wanted that every spectator can say "that it had assured to the end and proposed a true benefit of artist". A professional speech...

If Blaze knew some glory years as frontman of the biggest group of Heavy Metal of the world, it afterward lived very difficult moments; a lot of knew you that it lost in 2008 his woman and his father in the same year, inducing a long period of difficult passages to manage, which is itself feels on the words and the moods of Its compositions…
Since little it rediscovers the form and without betraying secret it soon will be dad, which in fact a new man, very mature, that has a lot of declines on life and his direction, every pronounced word on serious subjects carry, it does not speak for not anything to say and one feels a huge musical experience.
of course it loves to laugh and joke… brief I met this Saturday a man well, that one wants to listen and follow.

It advocates the serious one to progress as group and sacrifices to always advance and again, even in the difficult moments. It came to pass this week end with LONEWOLF, to divide with them a little his experience, and this in a simple way and natural.

Blaze went to go to bed towards midnight to be in form for the next day, for us other, some glasses later we arrived at two o'clock in the morning the hour of ourselves also to be going to sleep.

Sundays May 8 2011.

After a breakfast, towards 10h00, the four musicians of the group, Isa the woman of Rikki, Blaze and have myself invests the studio d 'recording " Hangar 38 " for the true day of work.
THE airplane of Blaze taking one off of Lyon towards 18H, there were scarcely 6 hours to record the parties song that would figure on one of the titles of the next one LONEWOLF (the title again is not defined).
A title that rings very IRON MAIDEN eras Blaze exactly, epic, powerful and mélodique to wish!

Blaze had announced us that it should await some times before beginning singing, history to leave its vocal ropes to heat themselves naturally before attacking the party work.
once to the studio it reworked the words realized by Jens and that of manner very directive, fact same ré to write the three identical refrains for really to be able to follow and correct the points to review at the time of the recording (it was written initially the refrain and side issue "X 3").
Jens was as a student in front of a professor, and it was impressive to see this scene when one knows Jens habitually fonceur and jovial…Pour info Alex, Tonio and Rikki some were reduced to the state of kids in bermudas in front of the Father Christmas…
Blaze directed all of A to Z with the effective technical assistance of Francesco that manages the studio. LONEWOLF looked at with respect and admiration the vocal prowess of Blaze…
Blaze that is itself fitting in a spectacular way entitles it, and that to every new step showed itself "The" singer of this title that perfectly sticks to his voice!
In three hours it had succeeded learning and to master more perfectly the title, and more of once I saw the laughs fill with emotions ofAlex or Jens while hearing a sentence on which Blaze mentioned any sound art and his power!

Yes, this was for me also a big moment and I never will thank enough the LONEWOLF to have accepted me among the pack!

Towards an hour and half I have of the to leave all this beautiful world after some photos remember that will immortalize this week end magic!

I am more impatient to hear the final result, but I can gild and already to say you that this title will be a hymn!
If I will review the friends of LONEWOLF, I do not know if I will cross again Blaze, but there will remain at life a surprising man and authentic very attaching.
A guy that could have finished in a career (unfortunately) pathetic to the Paul DI ANNO, to live only on his statute "of former IRON MAIDEN ", while sinking itself in a negative spiral, and to the final one Blaze fought to do itself to accept and respect by the fans of Métal and that fought also against of very hard tests as imposed him life; a guy that is ready To realize turn of small clubs in minibus with seals of miseries with the conviction to realize that of which it has envie…partager his faith in our music with the fans, that them also do often of the sacrifices to see it in concert.
It likes his role of frontman: to hit in the hands of the fans of the first row, insult those of the bottom, and put the fire on scene! It says rarely to attain the perfection, but that every time it tries to attain it and that it works every day for there to arrive!

A thing is sure I will try to find time to listen its last albums and to see his last DVD to impregnate me more personage.
to finish and to be complete it reformed WOLFSBANE, a group that according to him is more Rock’n’Roll (spirit I quote "Fuck The World") and an album is in preparation. BLAZE BAYLEY is a group that is more serious, more technical and that attaches itself principally to explore the human soul, its joys, its penalties and its hopes.

thank you Blaze, thank you LONEWOLF (and the WOLFGIRLS) and a special one dedicates to Norde that (as me) was not able to realize his interview!

Mielenkiintoinen uudehko Blaze haastattelu alta. Tuo olikin uusi tieto allekirjoittanellee, että The Clansmanin ideoita oli kasassa jo x-Factorin aikoihin.
It really came together with 'The Clansman' which was kind of floating around toward the end of 'The X Factor' sessions. Then he brought it back out. It just worked great. I was looking forward to a third album. I had ideas that I wanted to present to him. The third album was the one where people could’ve seen and said, ‘Well actually the changes worked. Yeah Blaze has every right to be there.’ I was expecting to make that album, I was really sad that it didn’t happen.”

Aika mielenkiintoista infoa Brucelta Metal Hammerista! Tämä käännös löytyi Blazen foorumilta:

This is what Bruce said about Blaze: "Frankly, I was astonished that they chose Blaze. I had a little chat with him at the time, I don't know how he took it. I said congratulations on the job but you've got your work cut out because you've got a completely different voice to me. You need to wipe my memory from the map or else this band will eat you alive. I said good luck, and I really meant that. I think it was impossible for him." Metal Hammer July 2011.

BLAZE BAYLEY: Antwerp Concert To Be Filmed For Upcoming DVD

Former IRON MAIDEN and current WOLFSBANE frontman Blaze Bayley will have his September 23 solo concert at De Rots in Antwerp, Belgium professionally filmed for a forthcoming DVD.

Commented Blaze: "I have chosen to record the show at The Rots as it is one of the smallest gigs on my European tour, the people are crazy, and every time I have played there it has been a real event.

"My last two DVDs have been great but they were big shows. This time I want to capture the intimate vibe, up close and personal with my fans. So it is made by my fans, for my fans and with my fans in mind.

"I will be performing one brand new song at the gig! After, we will be staying at the Rots to sample the collection of Belgium's finest beers.

"Feel free to join us at the after-party.

"Everyone who sends in a picture of themselves with me from the show will be mentioned in the credits and your picture might end up in the booklet of the DVD.

"The whole show will be recorded with professional equipment.

"If you want to bring your own camcorders or phones to help us make this a really special DVD, send us your recordings as we will try to include it somewhere on the double DVD that will be released in March 2012.

"The DVD will have extras like interviews, backstage footage, acoustic songs and many other things."

Bayley and his solo band played a "secret" warm-up show on May 12, 2011 at De Verlichte Geest in Roeselare, Belgium to prepare for their recent festival appearances. Check out video footage of the performance below.

Blaze's band at the show consisted of the following musicians:

Blaze Bayley: Vocals
Steve Deleu (GWYLLION, DOUBLE DIAMOND, FIREFORCE): Guitar
Nick Meganck (NATIVE INSTINCT): Bass
Dave Andrews: Guitar
Claudio Tirincanti: Drums

Blaze recently parted ways with the rest of his band in order to pursue a career as a solo artist and the lead singer of WOLFSBANE. He explained the decision by saying that "the mental, financial and emotional strain of keeping the BLAZE BAYLEY band together has proven to be too much for me and has taken a terrible toll on my mental health. . . It has been an upsetting, frustrating and sad time because the BLAZE BAYLEY band will not be going on any more, but it is also for me a huge relief and a time to look forward."

A statement from former members of Blaze Bayley's solo band — David Bermudez (bass), Nico Bermudez (guitar) and Jay Walsh (guitar) — regarding the group's split can be found at this location.

The 47-year-old Bayley, who was born in Birmingham, was the original frontman in WOLFSBANE, but left in 1994 to replace Bruce Dickinson as the lead singer of IRON MAIDEN.

Blaze's latest album, "Promise and Terror", was released on February 1, 2010.

The singer's double live album and live DVD, "The Night That Will Not Die" — recorded on December 13, 2008 at Z7 in Pratteln, Switzerland — were released on Blaze Bayley Recordings; the concert was filmed by director Kris McManus and all audio mixed and mastered by producer Jase Edwards.

Blaze Bayley’s perfect weekend

Rock star Blaze Bayley is perhaps best known as lead singer with Iron Maiden from 1994 until 1999. Born in Birmingham, he is also the lead singer of Wolfsbane and has enjoyed solo sucess as both Blaze and Blaze Bayley. He tells us about his perfect weekend.

It’s Friday afternoon. What’s on your mind?

Learning the words for the gig that night. I suffer terribly with nerves so I have to keep very calm and people think I’m very boring or very fed up. I just keep myself to myself, do not talk to anybody and do not drink any alcohol whatsoever.

Who normally has the pleasure of your company at the weekend?

Hundreds of fans across Europe. I could be playing in Belgium, Poland or a gig in the UK. Most weekends, Friday and Saturday, during the summer I’m out doing a concert.

How would you prepare for a big night out?

For a big night out I’d probably have a shower and put some deodorant on and I might even go so far as to have a shave. If it’s my partner Eline I’m going out with I’ve definitely got to have a shave. If it’s just the lads then I don’t bother.

What’s your favourite party outfit?

It’s got to be the Fistful Of Dollars, Clint Eastwood style. I’ve got the hats. Years ago I was on tour in the USA and in Colorado City there was this fantastic cowboy clothes shop and I managed to find a hat that fits because I have a very large cranium . . . that’s a big head in Birmingham! I’ll stick the hat on just to walk around or walk the dog.

You’ve just arrived at the bar. What’s your first drink?

I’m filled with indecision on that first drink, because I know if I start on Guinness I’ll be going all night, I won’t be the worst for wear. But if I’ve had something to eat, Guinness might be a bit heavy so I might go for cider but that could affect me very, very quickly, so I may lack my sparkle towards late evening.

What is your favourite nightspot and why?

Normally I end up, if I’m home, at The Foundry in Dudley. It’s not really a nightspot but it is open at night at weekends after midnight. I go there because it’s a heavy metal, rock pub and it’s one of the last pubs of that kind. There’s always somebody there that looks a kind of freak, and generally that’s me!

What tune always gets you on to the dance floor?

Highway To Hell by AC/DC normally gets my hips going and I’m a demon on the karaoke. I call myself a karaoke king, others call me a karaoke curse.

It’s a sunny Saturday, what are you up to?

If I’m at home then I am trying to persuade my partner to let me go out on my motorcycle and if I’m not doing that then I’m repairing my motorcycle and hoping that I’ll be allowed out the next day.

What’s your most memorable weekend ever and why?

I’ve got so many memorable weekends but one I had recently was when I was a special guest of a band in the Czech Republic called Seven, who asked me to come over and sing some of my songs with them at a huge festival and I was just treated like gold the whole time. I had a lovely hotel room and they took me out for a lovely dinner and around the festival I never bought a drink all weekend.

What’s the recipe for a perfect night in?

Law And Order UK on the telly and I’ve prepared my new speciality, blazing hot ribs and some red wine.

Favourite DVD? And what would you eat while watching it?

One is Groundhog Day with Bill Murray and the other one is Sexy Beast with Ray Winstone. It’s a fantastic British gangster film. I would probably eat some popcorn – I make my own popcorn.

Sunday breakfast – cooked or continental?

On Sunday morning, if I’m not on tour then generally I try to get up early and go over with a couple of mates to Bridgnorth, to the Food Stop Cafe, and I’ll either have egg and chips or a bacon and egg sandwich. And then you’ve either got to get back to do the gardening or we go off and ride round Wales or The Malverns or anywhere else we can find.

Sunday lunch – home cooked or down the pub?

We don’t really have Sunday lunch at our house at all. Generally we’ll have an Indian takeaway on the night.

Where and how do you like to relax?

I like to relax in bed snuggling up with my gorgeous partner and the dog.

You’ve got a whole weekend off and a wad of money in your back pocket – which country or city would you head to?

I think we might go to Newquay because we had a good weekend there a couple of years ago but we didn’t have a lot of money, so I’d like to go and flash the cash there and maybe, maybe have the starter as well as the main course there at the Thai restaurant! I just like the general vibe of being at the English seaside.
