Kysymysehdotus:

Jos viitsit Maideniin liittyen jotain hiukan kysyä, niin kysäseppäs että onko Blaze käynyt jo keskusteluja Steven ja kumppaneiden kanssa, hänen aikaansa pändissä käsittelevästä historia Dvd:eestä?

Itse tätä viimeksi yritin herralta shown jälkeen kysästä, mutta ei ilmeisesti aivan ymmärtänyt meikeläisen änkyrä Lontoosta ja puhui vaan jotain tulevista kuukausista...vai nauhoitettiinkohan silloin jo todella haastatteluja...tiedä häntä

Ite kysyin tuon Treella... ja Vastaus oli että ei ole vielä Herraa haastateltu... Ja kysyin että mitä mieltä Blaze olis Maidenin vika kiertueesta sillei että herra ja Paul liittyisivät remmiin... niin Blaze oli ite miettinyt samaa:-D

Clansman livenä Unkarista heinäkuulta. Se mikä tekee pätkästä mielenkiintoisen on se että Blaze saanut biisiin taas vaihteeksi uudenlaista tulkintaa karjuvalla tyylillä sekä miehen ääni soi tosi hienosti. Harmi kun ei oo kokonaista biisiä mutta soundit on hyvät Porissa yllätyin kuinka loistavassa tikissä Brucen ääni oli mutta niin on Blazellakin. Kyllä näitä bändejä kelpaa livenä käydä katsomassa!

On se kova äijä! Nyt tullut 1 kertaa livenä nähtyä Blaze-bändin kanssa (Wacken, hail rain!), 2 kertaa Blaze Bayley-bändin kanssa Helsingissä ja yhden kerran Iron Maidenin riveissä (1998). Kaikki oli todella kovia vetoja.

Kyllä Clansman kelpaisi taas kuulla livenä, tai oikeestaan ihan mikä biisi tahansa Virtualilta Blazen laulamana. TAHTOO!
Viimeksi ku Blaze oli Suomessa riehumassa, meikä oli ulkomailla hevaamassa...

A letter from Blaze 28 August 2010

"Hello, it's me, Blaze. Sometimes I like to reach out to fans on a more personal level, to let you know what is going on with the band and the tour and our shop.

So far this year, things have been just mental. I would not have thought in February when we started the "Promise And Terror Tour", that so many big things could happen to us. The sadness and confusion felt by all of us when Larry decided to leave the band. The difference of opinion with manager Anna about the priority's for the next months that made her decide to leave. The incredible support from fans all over the world through those difficult times. On the tour so far we have played to more people in more countries and sold more CDs and merch than the whole of the last album tour. Thank you everyone for making that happen.

Now we are in rehearsal for part two of the "Promise And Terror Tour". We are changing the set list for the second part of the tour. The four songs that form the second part of the album and tell the story, we are planning to play together as one piece during our headline shows. We don't know if it will work but that's what we are attempting to do. As well as that we are bringing another couple of songs from the BLAZE band era and rehearsing "The Truth Is One" from the "The Man Who Would Not Die" album. If it works it will be the first time we have performed that song since we recorded it.

I have spoken to a lot of fans who are interested in vinyl. We would like to bring out "The Man Who Would Not Die" as a limited edition double album with gate fold sleeve. Before we go ahead with the pressing we need to know how many people would be interested in buying it. We need to sell about 500 to make it possible to do a limited edition. If that works then every new release will come out as a limited edition vinyl as well as our regular CD. We think it would cost about 20 pounds.

The next new release from the band should be a live album. Each tour we like to record the live set as a kind of memento of what we were doing and because the songs start to take on a new life and meaning when we play them a lot on tour. We are planning to record most of our next South American tour in January and have it available by April 2011. We are working on a couple of new songs just for the live album. Jay has done most of the work designing all the new merch that is available to order now from the shop and will be with us on the tour. We hope you like it as much as we do. Where ever we can we will be available to sign stuff before or after the gigs on the upcoming tour. If you have a big collection of things that you would like signed then please email us and tell us what gigs you can get to and if its possible we will try to make time before the gig to get that done. But please only your own personal collection not things for ebay.

Thanks to everyone who has emailed us with details of local venues to play and local promoters. If any of you would like to see us play in your local venue, then please send us details of the venue and the person responsible for booking bands and we will try and add that venue to one of our future tours.

We haven't yet decided on a full time replacement drummer or new manager. Things seem to be going very well for us right now with Claudio from Italy on the drums and managing most things ourselves with help from a few friends in the business. We thank you so much for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you out there somewhere on part 2 of the "Promise And Terror World Tour"."

‘At The End Of The Day’ features the story of ‘Blaze’ Bayley Cooke, following his career as a frontman, from Wolfsbane to Iron Maiden to BLAZE and, ultimately, to the current self-titled Blaze Bayley band. However, this book is not solely about Blaze; rather it tells the story of the entire Blaze Bayley band, tracing the history of all the band members, back to their roots in New Zealand, Colombia and…Bristol.

Alongside the full and frank contributions from the members of the Blaze Bayley band, the book features interviews with BLAZE and Wolfsbane members plus Janick Gers and Steve Harris of Iron Maiden. Blaze himself explains in detail how he first attained the job with Iron Maiden, the truth about working inside such a renowned and hard-working band, and the events of the meeting at which his tenure fronting Iron Maiden ended. ‘At The End Of The Day’ also contains tour dates, discographies, and extensive black and white and full colour photographs.

Written and updated by Blaze Bayley’s ex-drummer Lawrence ‘Larry’ Paterson, who has previously authored ten books on a completely unrelated subject — Second World War U-boats — this book offers a unique insight into the history of Blaze Bayley, the man and the band, as well as the inner workings and adventures of a band on the road and in the studio. The author takes us from the early beginnings of Wolfsbane in the mid-1980s, through the dizzying heights of touring with Iron Maiden to the triumphs and tragedies that lead right up to June 2010.

This version will contain fresh information that will take the reader through the making of Promise And Terror and onto the roads of the UK and Europe.

Sattuisko kukaan tietämään mistä saisi Blazen Sin By Sin-biisiä? Kyseessä siis 2004-2005(?) kokoonpanolla tehty biisi,jota on vedetty myös keikoilla vuonna 2005.Hyvä biisi,jota ei sitten saatu levytettyä tekijänoikeuksien takia,kun muut biisin tekijät lähti bändistä.

Blazesta nyt sen verran.. Aika ristiriitaiset ovat tavallaan ajatukset, mutta jos kysytään mitä mieltä miehestä itsestään niin pelkkää positiivista sanottavaa löytyy. Miehen soololevyiltä löytyy ajoittain ihan perkeleen kovaa kamaa. Silicon Messiahia kun ensimmäistä kertaa kuuntelin, niin pakko sanoa, että räjäytti tajunnan. Aivan kuin eri mies laulaisi mitä X Factorilla ja Virtual XI:llä. Ja huikaisevia biisejä. Myöhemmin on tullut tutustuttua muihinkin levyihin, toisiin enemmän, toisiin vähemmän.

Mikä se pointti tässä oli se, että Blaze ei todellakaan päässyt oikeuksiinsa Iron Maidenissa. Vastaus kysymykseen, oliko Blaze oikea valinta Iron Maidenin vokalistiksi Brucen jälkeen.. rehellisesti sanottuna en tiedä. Molemmat Blazen laulamat levyt Maidenilta ovat hyviä ja kummaltakin löytyy yksittäisiä helmiä. Mutta vasta Iron Maidenin jälkeen todella on nähty mihin mies oikeasti kykenee. Saatanan kova laulaja. Ja aivan liian aliarvostettu. Harmi, että pesti Brucen saappaisiin astujana on jättänyt mieheen ikuisen Iron Maiden- leiman.

Heh, muistankin sut Hyvä että koetit iltasella, harvoinhan tuo onnistuu mutta muistaakseni olen aikoinaan jonkun keikan alaikäsenä onnistunut itekin livahtaan. Virallisesti toki en tue moista toimintaa, mutta...

Ei tule tuohon yhteyteen muita keikkoja Suomeen, ei ole "järkeä". Loppuvuodelle saattaa mahdollisesti olla tulossa Helsinkiä ja ehkä muutakin. Aika epävarmoja aikoja eletään keikkajärkkäyspuolella Dantesin lopettaessa niin meidän kuin monen muunkin järkkääjän osalta. Helsinki on näissä keikoissa taloudellisesti mahdottoman tärkeä kaupunki ja se tarviikin saada hyvin kohdalleen, ennenkuin kannattaa muita edes harkita.

Blazehan aina haluaa kyllä kovasti keikkoja ja myös alaikäisille. Mieluiten ite oottaisin seuraavan Suomen-kiertueen kanssa kunnes uusi levy on ulkona, mutta se tapahtuu vasta 2012, joten on mahdollista että jotain säädetään vielä Hammer-homman lisäksikin tälle vuodelle.
