Let us know if you get ticket from Ticketservice, so we don´t need to look one for you.

www.Huuto.net is a Finnish auction similar to Ebay, but only domestic. I suppose most sellers would be ready to ship their tickets to Australia, but usually the want the payment upfront before they send the item, so you´ll have to discuss with them your payment options.

just ask us if you need translation help.

Just thinking...this might be a stupid idea but..

Maybe someone in Rautaneito could try to win tickets from huuto.net and then send them to MaidenOZ if the ticket-sellers are not ready to send them to Australia. It would be easier to finnish-person to register to huuto.net, get the tickets to hands, communicate with the seller and would send them to Australia without any "good-senders-price" (I'm not sure if people use that term in other countrys, but that's end of offtopic)

This was just an idea, sorry to say in the beginning but i can't do the thing 'cause I'm so young and short of money

In that threat user Metal is selling 3 standing tickets to 2nd show (7.7.2005). So you can send him a message and ask if he still got tickets left.

Cool Thanks mate I'll send him a PM now..... 8)

I was just checking out our Aussie forum and saw that we have a new member there by the name of "Maiden Finland". I was wondering if it might be someone from here?

Anyway, if you guys want to come and check out our Maiden Board here's the link: You may have to click on the picture of Eddie to get in if this link doesn't take you directly there.....
http://www.downunderclansmen.com/forum/

My nick on that board is AngeFairy! I moderate one of the forums on there called "IM visitation Front of Australia" That forum is especially to help us Aussie fans get to Iron Maiden gigs overseas, it just has info on the latest tour dates & tickets etc, and airfares & hotels info. But the rest of the board has places to chat about Maiden or just general music chat & stuff.
Hope you guys like it :)

^Thanks a lot for the link. I read that you´re gonna organize a group trip to overseas to see Maiden. How many people you got there coming? How many shows you´re gonna see in Europe?

Well, the group tour thing is only about a month old so, there's just me and my husband who have bought tickets to a concert so far. But there's about another 5 or 6 people, who are still deciding whether they can afford to do it next year or not.

We're going to keep organising group trips everytime Iron Maiden do another tour. I'm expecting that more people would be able to go on the next tour they do, possibly 2006? with the new album. This gives people more time to save money, as it's going to cost us a few thousand dollars each to travel overseas.

That's the trouble when you live in Australia, you're miles and miles away from EVERYWHERE! So it costs around $2,000-2,500AUS just for airfare.

I'm still trying to get tickets for the 2nd Helsinki show, and I'm keeping my eye out for extra tickets to Gothenberg and Oslo. We want to try and get to as many as we can. For us this is like a once in a lifetime opportunity. First time away from home, and seeing Iron Maiden do all the tunes we grew up listening to from their old albums. I can't wait.....

OMG!!!

I wish I was in Finland right now! The temperature here tomorrow is going to be 42 degrees celcius!!!!!!!!!
It's been up in the 30's for the last 3 days in a row, and it's so hard to sleep in this weather

Just to give you guys an update, I still have not managed to get tickets for the 2nd show yet. I've Emailed and faxed the ticket sellers but no one has got back to me yet.

My friend who helped me get the tickets for the first show is trying to help me again. But she said when she went on the site to book, the only tickets left were in section 302 !!

I had a look on the virtual tour on the Hartwall site and those seats look like they are behind the stage??? Is this right? Why would they be selling tickets behind the stage? I'm a bit confused. :?

Anyway, I hope you guys over here are well. Wish me luck in the heat tomorrow.

As you can see, the section 302 is not behind the stage 8)

Hang in there MaidenOZ, in Finland we have winter here, and in Lapland has been over -20 degrees celsius (hope i'm telling you the temperature in right way... ) But anyway, it's snowing and somedays freezing cold, one day in Australia would be nice for me, i have catched cold in these days.

Well, good luck for getting those tickets!

My english isn`t so good but who cares.
Whats wrong with section 302?My place is in that section, and I think its good place, because its in the upper seats. My friend were watching Smackdown! in Hartwall arena and he said that there was good wiew overthere. And it doesnt look like that the section is behind the stage.I dont think they would even sell seats to behind the stage.

Well,good luck ´cos you need it :D

Thanks for the link to that map ozz3.....It's a much better one than what I was looking at!

I was looking at the Virtual tour they have of the seats on the Hartwall areena site, where you can see the photos of the seats, and you click your section and it shows you a view of where it is from the centre.
From that one it looked like the seats were behind the stage which is why I was confused. It looked like the stage was much further forward than it is.

But looking at that other map from the link you just posted, I can see it's not behind the stage, so thank you for putting that up for me. They look like good seats. :D I hope my friend is able to buy some for me. Maybe we will hear some news tomorrow. I will let you know how we go.

Hey Battery.....did you say you had seats in that section too? Is that for 1st or 2nd night?

WOW!!!! Great pic of you and Adrian, Asa!!! Where/When was that taken? I've saved it on my hard drive so we know who to look for at the bar when we get there

Here's a pic of my husband Brian, so you know who we are too. Unfortunately the photo cuts out about 3 quarters of his beard, but you get the idea  He's a crazy man...

I don't no are those all girls in the front-row for their own choice or for Gene Simmons's choice :?

OK I will put up a photo, but you may have to wait until after Xmas. We don't have a digital camera or scanner here at home. So, the only way we can get photos on our computer, is to have someone else take them with their camera, and then email them to us!!

This is how we got that photo of my husband Brian. His friend at work has a mobile phone which takes photos, that is where the photo is taken.

But it's nearly Xmas and there are lots of family gatherings and parties to go to, I am sure someone there will have a digital camera....I will ask them to take photos and email them to me, then I can put one up here for you.....You never know, maybe if we've been good, Santa might leave us a digital camera Christmas morning.

OK I don't think you would call me an Aussie beauty, but I will be brave and put up a photo soon.

Hey, I need some more photos of you guys too! I need to know who to look for at the bar

Cheers guys! Hope you're having a good one over there :)
