^ Toi Skin taisi olla bändi, joka oli lämppäämässä Tavastialla Brucea Chemicalin tai Accidentin rundilla. Muistaako joku paremmin? Relic?

Mun mielestä: kyllä. Skinin rumpali Dickie Fliszar kun soitti tunnetusti Tears Of The Dragoninkin. + että Keith Olsen (Dickinsonin ajan hämäriin jääneet biisit äijän kanssa ennen BTP:tä) tuotti debyyttinsä 1994.

Näyttipäs mukavan campilta, oli tissejä ja kökköjä one-linereita. Tuosta tulee ehdottomasti joko helvetin loistava tai sitten helvetin paska leffa.

Leffa on nyt sitten ilmeisesti julkaistu.. Ensimmäiset arvostelut olleet tasoa 3-4/5.. Toisaalta eiväthän kriitikot mitään ymmärrä, joten varsinainen arvio täytyy tehdä aikanaan itse...

IMOC:sta oli jonkin verran porukkaa käynyt tuon ensi-illan katsomassa ja yleinen palaute oli aika posiitiiviista. Elokuvasta oli tullut (jos oikein ymmärsin) myös kirja, jota pystyi luonnollisesti tuolta ensi-illasta ostamaan ja jotkut oli niihin nimmareitakin saanut.

Not sure I have seen a film like it before, very British, Callow is amazing, as expected, Bruce stars in it too!

There are lots of Maiden references in the Film and Music too, Bruce's Chemical Wedding starts it off, Can I play with Madness is in one scene and Wickerman in another, the credits state Still life also, but I cant remember hearing it.

Then the Q&A. Bruce, Simon Callow and Julian Doyle sat at the front and spoke about why they wanted to make the film, how it has been on the go for some years and why it has been difficult to get off the ground. Lots about quantum physics, religion, Crowley and his life. It lasted an hour and it was truly fasinating and humerous. I read a little about Crowley before the night and had a couple of questions lined up but did not ask them?

I am tempted to get some of his books for a read, he seems a very interesting character.

After this I was hoping to get the chance to say Hi to Bruce and get him to sign a couple of singles I had taken along, He dissapeared quickly and then I got stopped by some people filming interviews with those who had attended, I was asked a few questions and when I got up the stairs found Bruce in a doorway!!

As you can imagine several others were also asking for photo's and signatures, I managed to hand him my 7" version of Run to the Hills, but my silver marker did not work so had to borrow a biro. No real chance to chat or anything which was a shame, but ideally you would want some decent time to spend with him.

Overall it was a great night and in hindsight better than I expected.

Koska tuota ei iän puolesta tule leffateatterissa näkemään, pitäisköhän ihan härskisti (niiden trailerissa näkyvien tissien takia) tilata tuolta kotiin asti, kuhan ilmestyy. Vaikuttaa kummiskin hyvältä elokuvalta näinkin puusilmälle leffadiggarille.

Tälläisenä Horror-leffojenkin fanina tuo leffa voi olla kyllä hieno kokemus. Vielä kun oman suosikkibändin laulaja on ollut käsikirjoittamassa niin mitkä voisi olla enää paremmat lähtökohdat. Katotaan sit millon ja mistä ton sais napattua itelle.

Kyllä tuo varmaan tulee nimenomaan play.comista tilattua, halpa hinta ja soundtrack-cd mukana.
Pari viime ennakkotilausta vaan kaupasta kusenut kun loppunut saman tien, mitenköhän käy tämän kanssa ja suosittukin tilausten suhteen.
