^ Blakea itekin veikkalisin. Mutta johan on tyylikäs kans, juuri niin Brucelle sopivaa. AAArgghh, odottavan aika on pitkä. Hienoa, että saatiin vihdoin se päivä, ettei tarvitse enää pähkäillä epätietoisuudessa.

EDIT: EIkö siitä aikasemmin ollut puhetta, että liveä olisi myös tulossa levylle. Luulis nyt ainakin, ettei vaan mene pelkästään videoiksi.

Varmaan olet samaa mieltä nickisi alkuperälevystä eli Tyranny Of Soulsin (tosin Hans Memlingin) ja Chemical Weddingin kansistakin sitten.

No niin tulihan se julkaisu ajan kohta sieltä. Nyt on sitten vain pitkä ja tuskallinen odotus, mutta ei voi mitään. Tulee kyllä odoteltua tätä aivan yhtä paljon kuin Maidenin uutta levy, milloin sitten tuleekaan.

En näe mitään estettä etteikö saisi, eikä olisi esimmäinen kertakaan, vuoden 1997 Skunkworks Live VHS:ltä löytyy The Prisoner.

Siisti paketti tulossa ja tottakai tuo menee hankintalistalle.

Ja harmikseni en ikinä ostanut tuota Dive Dive Live-vhs:sää 90-luvun alussa, joten nyt saa senkin samalla. Hyvältä paketilta vaikuttaa ja toivottavasti ei ole mitään teknisiä ongelmia tuossa

Onhan tuota odotettu... mielenkiintoista tsekata miltä Bruce vaikuttaa soolokeikoillaan. Onko enemmän vapautunut jne....

Aaaarrrggh.. komee sisältö! Dive Dive Live! olikin jo hyvä saada DVD-aikaan, kun aika hissussa on VHS-version liikkuminen tänä päivänä. Skunkworks Live myös ihan hyvä ratkaisu, onkohan tuossa the Prisoner mukana vaiko ei? Alkuperäisellä taitaa olla kumminkin, olikos muita Maidenin biisejä? Tuskin tuota nyt on muuttelemaan suuremmin kumminkaan lähdetty. Promovideoiden koostaminen pakettiin vaikuttaa ihan luontevalta myös, mutta onko tuo live bootlegin vuosi aivan oikein? Tekikö Bruce keikkaa myös 2000?

Vaikka en Brucen soolomatskusta niin tykkääkkään, niin ton dvd:n sisältö näyttää niiin herkulliselta, että täytyy kyllä käydä sitte ostamassa toi.

Todella hienoa, että tämä on mukana, julkaistu aikaisemmin vain Japanissa. Skunkworks, Brucen paras levy ja bändi.

Vai oikein bootleg, kesto tosiaan viittaisi täyspitkään settiin, eli luultavasti myös Maiden biisit mukana.

Mahtaako olla ihka uudet haastattelut joka videolle. Nostaisin hattua, jos mukana olisi esimerkiksi alkuperäinen Tears of the Dragon haastattelu/making of, saattaisi tosin avata vanhoja haavoja liiaksi.

Tämä DVD olisi mielestäni mainio tekosyy tehdä pieni soolorundi kesällä, varsinkin kun tulevan Maiden -levyn nauhoitukset ovat silloin jo ohi ja kiertue alkaa vasta vuoden lopulla, ties milloin seuraava vastaava tilaisuus sattuu kohdalle.

Kyllä tosiaan on, mies on kuin eri planeetalta. Toivottavasti pääsemme tätä hänen alteregoaan taas pian todistamaan.

Ainakin kestoksi on merkitty 60 minuuttia, eli sama kuin VHS -versiossa, joten luultavasti The Prisoner löytyy, muita Maiden biisejä ei alkujankaan ollut.

Brucen soolomateriaaliin tutustuminen on aina vaan jäänyt ja jäänyt, eikä vieläkään ole edetty mihinkään suuntaan. DVD:n sisältö näyttää kaikinpuolin niin mielenkiintoiselta, että tuosta saa luvan tulla ensikosketukseni Dickinsoniin muunakin kuin Iron Maidenin laulajana.

DVD Disc 1 is a live performance extravaganza boasting 30 show-stopping tracks, recorded during the '90s as Bruce forged ahead with his solo career. "Dive Dive Live" was recorded at the Town and Country Club, Los Angeles on the "Tattooed Millionaire" tour on August 14, 1990. This was Bruce's first outing as a solo artist with a new band made up of Janick Gers (guitar), Andy Carr (bass) and Dickie Fliszar (drums).

Originally created for a four-track video EP release in Japan, this is the hour-long "Skunkworks" concert in full, for the very first time.

With a new heavier lineup made up of long time songwriting partner Roy Z (guitar), old MAIDEN partner Adrian Smith and rhythm section of Dave Ingraham (drums) and Eddie Casillas (bass), this "bootleg" documents Bruce at his most intense.

DVD Disc 3 is an extensive collection of promotional videos made during Bruce's solo career. From his days at EMI through to his own self-produced videos of recent times, each video is accompanied by a short introduction by Bruce himself, discussing the ideas, concepts and eventual filming behind each of the videos. Each intro provides an interesting insight into Bruce's solo career as it progressed and the highlights and pitfalls of producing your own promotional videos.

Alongside the 14 promotional videos, Disc 3 also includes over an hour's worth of extras. The "Tyranny Of Souls" interview was originally filmed as a general interview for press purposes. This is a track-by-track breakdown of the concept behind the songs on the "Tyranny Of Souls" album, providing more of an in-depth look at the writing methods that Bruce has formed with longtime writing partner Roy Z.

SAMSON – "Biceps Of Steel": Bruce made his video debut fronting SAMSON in this rather curious adaptation of the story of Samson and Delilah, filmed at the Rainbow Theatre, London. Filmed and directed by Julien Temple who perhaps was more famous for the SEX PISTOLS movie "The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle", this 15-minute featurette was distributed through-out cinemas as a support feature to Hazel O' Connor's "Breaking Glass" in 1980.

^Tuo nyt on vähän niin ja näin, koska se on alunperin Brucen oma biisi joka otettiin Maidenille. Mielestäni Brucen ja Maidenin versiot eivät mene yksi yhteen, korjatkaa jos olen väärässä.

Mihin tässä nyt sitten voi uskoa, luultavasti (toivottavasti) tuo biisilista on vajaa, ja tuo 104 minuutin kesto oikea. Toisaalta tokihan tuo feature saattaa sisältää haastattelu ja backstage -materiaalia. Ainakaan kyseessä ei siis mikään käsivaralta kuvattu bootleg, vaan pro -tason video screen -materiaali.
