Ei taas tänään oo tullu koulujutuistakaan mitään ku ei pysty keskittymään. Up the drinking horns!
Juuri kotiuduin tuolta kulttuuritalolta.
Amon Amarth heitti todella kovan setin, jonka ainoa heikko puoli oli sen omasta mielestäni ehdottomasti liian lyhyt kesto.
Livenä todella loistava ja energinen yhtye.
Dimmu ei jäänyt sen huonommaksi, mielestäni todella onnistuneesti laadittu mahtipontinen-show, sekä omaan makuuni sopiva musiikki, toimi todella loistavasti.
Kaikenkaikkiaan todella loistava keikka. Amon Amarth ja Dimmu Borgir samana iltana ei ole todellakaan huono yhdistelmä

Kuitenkin jos Teatrialle suuntaatte AA:ta katsomaan, ette varmasti pety. Todella loistava veto tosiaan eilen Helsingissä. Kesto vain oli todella lyhyt, taisi kestää ~50min.

Huhhuh, aikamoista koheltamista oli tuo Oulun reissu. Pikkasen meinas tulla kiire, mutta kerittiin juuri ja juuri, minuuttia ennen AA:n setin alkua yleisön joukkoon. Ja matkattiin Ouluun se 500 kilometriä, että ajoitus oli aika napakka. 
Hieman kyllä pisti vituttamaan tuo yllättävä aikataulumuutos, mutta selvittiin kumminkin. AA tappoi FME:ssä ja niin myös Teatrialla. Dimmu oli taas kuulematta paskaa. (piti lähteä tarkastamaan Oulun baaritarjonta siinä vaiheessa) Eipä ne lateksihameet taida juomasarville edelleenkään pärjätä.

"Twilight of the Thunder God" will be released on the 17th of September in Sweden, the 19th of September in D/A/CH/I and the 22nd of September in the rest of Europe. North American release date is September 30.

In Europe "Twilight of the Thunder God" will be released as a limited first edition 3-disc-set including a bonus CD and a bonus DVD. This deluxe collector's edition comes in highly valuable packaging featuring special layout and the AMON AMARTH comic which is currently being published in several metal magazines all over Europe. The comic can also be viewed online at THIS location. The album will also be released as a limited edition gatefold 2-LP on 180g etched vinyl!

In support of "Twilight of the Thunder God", AMON AMARTH has announced a fall, 2008 North American headlining tour. The scheduled three-week trek will kick off on October 1 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA. Support on the AMON AMARTH tour will be provided by Helsinki folk-metal act ENSIFERUM, Austrian blackened death metal band BELPHEGOR and Tampa, Florida melodic death metal troupe THE ABSENCE.
Following the completion of the North American headlining tour, AMON AMARTH will embark on a month-long European tour as hand-picked support for thrash metal titans SLAYER and the band's "Unholy Alliance Chapter III" tour. Also appearing on the tour will be MASTODON and TRIVIUM. AMON AMARTH will also play four shows at Zeche in Bochum, Germany in late December under the banner "Bloodshed Over Bochum". The band will play one of its first four albums in its entirety each night along with a "best-of" mix from "Fate of Norns" (2004), "With Oden On Our Side" (2006) and "Twilight of the Thunder God".

PERKELE! Kylmiä väreitä meni, niin hyvä on Twilight of the Thunder God- biisi. Helposti voin kuvitella itseni nyrkki pystyssä keikalle karjumaan keuhkot pihalle / moshaamaan pään irti. Tekivät sitte kunnon kertsin biisiin, mitäpäs sitä paskaa tekemäänkään. Amon Amarth tuntuu olevan yksi harvoista bändeistä, joka suoltaa laatumatskua toisensa jälkeen. Mukavaa, että nykyäänkin tuntuu olevan sentään muutama bändi, joiden laatutasoon voi luottaa.
Sais nyt vaan sen levyn pian käsiin, niin pääsis noita lyriikoitakin tutkailemaan. Vaikka kyllähän Heggin örinöistä paremmin selvää saa kuin keskivertomurisijan.

Nyt kun on kuusi kappaletta levyltä kuultuna, niin voi kyllä sanoa, että johan tulee taas EEPPISEN BRUTAALIA LÄSKIÄ Amon Amarthin suunnalta. Alkaa jotenkin ymmärrys loppua bändin suhteen, kun yhtä vähän tasaisempaa levyä lukuun ottamatta bändi paukuttaa koko ajan niin hyviä levyjä, että tuntuu kuin joiden arvoja pitäisi osata laskea päässään, kun kaikki ei vain voi olla niin hyviä. Hemmetti. Ärsyttävää!
