Suhteellisen lyhyt setti, tosin festareillahan ei aina pääse soittamaan niin pitkääPertti Keinonen wrote:Ozzfestilla näyttäis setti tältä:

Ja tässä Ozzfestiin liittyen, lainaus Blabbermouthista:
An IRON MAIDEN fan with the screen name "Kaz96133" has posted the following message on the official MAIDEN message board [NOTE: Thread has since been deleted from MAIDEN's message board]:
"Went to Ozzfest in Mansfield yesterday and noticed something on the back of the official [Ozzfest] T-shirt. At the bottom of tour dates, the words 'Iron Maiden' were written in Japanese and were crossed out with red circle and a slash. Check out the photo I took here [NOTE: Thread has since been deleted from MAIDEN's message board]. This is clearly an anti-MAIDEN message, and this is an OFFICIAL T-shirt!
"Does the band know about this? Is this some kind of inside-joke, or is Sharon [Osbourne] pissed at MAIDEN or something? If someone knows about it, please explain! Meanwhile, I would advise all MAIDEN fans out there NOT to buy this T-shirt. I was appalled because I saw so many people wearing this T-shirt yesterday."

Tehdäänkö tästä nyt jotenkin taas kärpäsestä härkänen?Maiden BB:lla Kaz96133 wrote:Hi, I'm the one who posted the original message. I posted it right before leaving Boston this afternoon. I just got back and checked this forum and found out that the thread's been deleted. I'm not exactly sure why, but I'm guessing it's because it created many negative reactions. In that case, I will apologize. But please do understand that I was really upset yesterday when I saw that T-shirt. Sure, maybe I'm the only one who could read it (I'm Japanese), but just imagine seeing many people around you wearing an anti-Maiden T-shirt... Along with watching Adrian storming out of stage near the end of Maiden's set, it left me a bad taste. I posted it here because I just wanted the band and fans to know about this. And I really hope it's just a joke, but it's not funny at all. (Why did it have to be in Japanese anyway?) I hope there will be some official statement soon explaining this matter.
For those of you who wants to see the T-shirt, it could be found here.

It's a crappy photo because I just used my cell phone to capture the shirt of the guy who was sitting near me, but there are logos of Ozzy and Sabbath at the top of the shirt (much like last year's, no other band logos) and name of the tour stops (including Donington), without any dates.

"The Prince of Darkness." Joopa vitun joo.

EDIT: Bruce kertoilee Ozzfestista:
IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson spoke to The Morning Call about the group's participation in this year's Ozzfest, which kicked off Friday (July 15) in Mansfield, MA. Several excerpts from the interview follow:
''This is probably the first and last chance that anybody will ever have to see IRON MAIDEN in America doing these songs, because there will be another IRON MAIDEN album out next year. We'll be doing some new stuff after that. There will be more tours subsequently, but we'll probably never again get a chance to play so many songs from the first four albums, and in particular from the first two."
On the group's decision to play Ozzfest:
"We didn't want to do a headlining tour to the same older audiences that show up every time we go into the sheds [the nickname for outdoor amphitheaters]. We wanted to get an audience that was going to be … basically 15-year-old kids with attitudes who are really into metal and keeping the music alive, as opposed to an audience who had been like that, but have now grown up, gotten respectable, and just remembered the band from the early days.
"In Europe we play mainly to audiences who are all under the age of 25. In America, I'd say the average age of the audience is 30-plus. That's not great for us. And it's also not great for young kids who come to see the band in sheds because they end up sandwiched between a bunch of fat old men drinking beer and eating hot dogs, and the kids are like 'Shouldn't we be really rocking?' So what we want is the Ozzfest vibe, which I think is much closer to the audiences we play to in Europe. That's the audience we want to impress, really."
"The nightmare corpse-city of R'lyeh was built in measureless eons behind history by the vast, loathsome shapes that seeped down from the dark stars. There lay great Cthulhu and his hordes, hidden in green slimy vaults."

Kyllä on taas jollain kusipäällämennyt kovaa tuolla ossivestillä.
Kehtaakin heittää rojua Adrianin päälle
During 'Sanctuary', at the first Ozzfest show of the tour, Adrian got angry towards a spectator, since he apparently got hit with what looked like a cup.
At first he just pointed at the person, but then got so pissed that he threw down his guitar and left the stage during when he was supposed to be playing a solo.
He then came back shortly after and pointed at the guy and looked like he was egging him on for a fight.

Heh, joo-o...

Mielenkiintoista. Erittäin.
Tästä saa monet ihmiset vähän lisää riehumisen aihetta.

No mikäs nyt? Tarkoitatko tuota huhua, että Smithin päälle on heitetty jotain? Ei kai mikään muukaan noin saa asaa huonolle fiilikselle.asa wrote:Saatanan idioottipomppuhomohyppyritukkawannabehevarijenkit!!! TAPAN TEIDÄT OMAKÄTISESTI KAIKKI!!!
Saatanan paskahousut.
Aika monet "vanhemmat" ameriikkalaiset on vetänyt herneet noista Brucen kommenteista.

Muutenkin tuo Brucen Hartford kommentti "have a nice time for the rest of the century" on minusta ainkain hienointa vittuilua mitä voi jengille heittää.
Bruce heitti RAR keikallakin hyvän "if you don´t understand this next song you might as well fuck off and die" ennen phantomia ja siitäkös jengi imbb:lla riemastui. Kyseessähän on vitun hieno biisi, Maidenin eliittiä!
