Kävin juuri treenaamassa nämä kolme biisiä rummuilla ja täytyypä vaan sanoa, että helevetin kovaa kamaa. Mielestäni hyvän levyn merkki on aina se kun itse soittaa mukana ja tulee sellainen "maailmanvalloittaja" -fiilis. Nyt tuli ja viimeksi tällainen fiilis tuli Maidenia soittaessa Rock In Rion kohdalla ilmestymisvuotenaan, kun kesälomalla suunnilleen joka päivä tuli vedettyä koko levy alusta loppuun. Dance of Deathin kanssa ei tätä fiilistä löytynyt, vaikka loistava levy onkin.

Tänään isoveljeni oli mennyt kaupungille rumpuasioissa ja kun tuli kotiin niin kassissa oli uunituore reincarnation of benjamin breeg sinkku! 
Olin todella ihmeissäni kui täällä sanottiin että se tulisi vasta huomenna. Voin sanoa kun hiljainen kohta loppuu niin kitarariffit alkavat todella lujaa! Siksi tämä oll vähän hiljaisempi koska jossain vaiheessa se menee pari astetta lujemalle itestää. Menin kananlihalle! Benjamin kuulosti tuplasti paremmalta levyllä kuin videossa! Mielestäni päihittää nyt brighter than thousand sunnin.

Eilen soittelin tossa puolen päivän aikaan Swamppiin kyselläkseni Benjaminin perään. Sanoivat, että huomenna (eli tänään) on sinkkuja saatavilla. Tänään, luvattuna päivänä kuitenkin hieman toinen ääni kellossa. Loppuviikkoon kuulemma menee, ehkä jopa ensi viikolle..
Noh, saa nyt nähdä, koska polttelu sormenpäissä alkaa. Pommitus jatkukoon!
EDIT: Jäitä hattun! Eli Swampista saa kyllä CD-sinkkuja niin kuin vähän epäilinkin, mutta 10":n kanssa saattaa mennää "jopa" ensi viikkoon. Väärinkäsityksiä tulee, kun pistää ulkopuolisen hoitamaan asiaa.

...and what can I say? It's one motherfucker of an album. It's easily the best they've done since Seventh Son.
Don't get confused by the quality of the streams. This is without a doubt the best sounding Shirley-production to date. It's very heavy, colossall and packed with music. It's a a pretty drenching experience to sit through all 72 minutes, not because it's stretched in any way, but it's loaded with so many impressions and different stuff going on.
Whereas some of the BNW and DOD songs feel a bit lenghty only for the sake of being proggy, these are all loaded with different themes and sounds, and this time there's a purpose for them being that long, it all seems very well thought through.
The best thing about the record is that every song has it's own unique approach.
It's very different from everything they've done so far. At times it sounds a bit like Bruces solo stuff, mixed with all the classic Maiden elements.
Some of the Janick stuff has a slight recemblance to the previous two records, but then it sets of in another direction again.
For the Greater Good of God is a typical Harris epic, kind of like No More Lies only 10 times better. This is the only song that has the typical repetativ chorus line, only this time it works really well, because it so worked through and Bruce sings like a god.
It's a dark and brooding record, filthy in a positive way. You can really hear that they're all very inspired.
I've been a die hard for 20 years. BNW and DOD didn't get to me immedeately, but I learned to like them. This is different, it punched my right in the face.
The Longest Day is the soundtrack of WWII.
Out of the Shadow is much like people has said before, a mix between Children of the Damned and Tears of the Dragon.
It's a extremely diverse album and none of the 72 minutes are one to many."

Heh, Bruce tietää varsin hyvin itsekin että Tyranny of Souls on vahvempi kokonaisuus mitä Dance of Death. Luin IMOC:ista juttua että tuossa 10" sinkussa olisi jotain onkelmia (runsasta pätkimistä), mutta kuulemma kyseessä oli ihan normaali vika jonka saa pois muutaman kuuntelun jälkeen eikä mikään sen kummempi. Toivottavasti ainakin.

Perkele kyllä nyt osaa maiden jälleen koukuttaa hyvin, lähes olin toivon menettänyt kympin kamasta pändin suhteen, mutta nyt pari tuntia pyöritelty näitä uusia veisuja ja POTKII kovaa. Brighterista löytyi parempi saundinen versio ja kyllähän on nannaa korville, voisipa melkein sanoa Silkkaa parhautta.

No perkele. Kai se on tästä duunista lähdettävä pienelle "luovalle paussille" ja käytävä kysymässä joko airosta tuota sinkku löytyisi kerta sitä helsingin ja tampereen jullit jo kaupittelee.
edit: Eipä myyneet airossa eikä äx:ssä. Rivien välistä kyllä saattoi lukea, että levyä tiskin alta jo löytyi, mutta ei irronnut.
